POSITION PURPOSE

Performs all scheduled and unscheduled driving functions as assigned.

Must have valid driver license to operate a motor vehicle between Wisconsin and Illinois. Driving record must reflect insurability via Froedtert South's automotive insurance carrier for authorized operation of fleet and at times patient/visitor vehicles (e.g., valet-related purposes).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

Valid driver license and driving record that ensures insurability via Froedtert South's automotive insurance carrier for authorized operation of fleet vehicles. Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English. Ability to work with confidential information. Strong customer service skills. Possesses appropriate communication skills, including telephone etiquette. Ability to effectively verbally communicate with patients, staff, and visitors.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Transports mail (internal and U.S. Postal), substantial amounts of cash, sterile and non-sterile/soiled surgical equipment, bio-hazardous lab specimens/blood and medical instrumentation (including associated chemicals), linen (clean and soiled), pharmaceuticals, radiology-related documents, confidential materials/reports, medical records, and various sensitive/delicate medical-related equipment/materials to/from all campuses and clinics.
