TOLL MESSENGER-WV PARKWAYS AUTHORITY-SEE POSTING

Location:

Throughout the entire Parkway including cities, turnpike facilities, designated banks, and United States Post Offices within the area.

Starting salary:

16.6255/hr. Eligible for overtime Essential Functions of the Job Directly responsible for providing messenger and delivery service to the Toll Collection Division plus other Turnpike facilities as requested. The Toll Messenger is under the direct supervision of the Toll Director. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Pickup, transport and deliver daily cash receipts from assigned facilities located throughout the length of the turnpike to designated banks in the Charleston, Beckley and Princeton areas. Pickup, transport and deliver change and supplies from designated banks to turnpike facilities as requested. Pickup, transport and deliver mail from area post offices to State Police and turnpike facilities as required. Pickup, transport and deliver various supplies to all turnpike facilities as requested. Pickup, transport and deliver all interdepartmental mail to all turnpike facilities as requested. Responsible for maintaining an assigned vehicle and following all safety rules and regulations applicable to the operation of the vehicle. Other duties as assigned. HS Diploma or GED Must have Valid Driver's License Toll Collector experience preferred. Early morning hours Able to drive approximately 200 miles a day.
