CDL Class A Driver - Tucson, AZ

With that being said, we'd like for a CDL Class A driver with a minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer experience to join our team! This potential candidate MUST have the availability to work any day of the week including weekends with morning, afternoon and evening availability. Essential Job Duties:

Operate a tractor trailer to deliver mail to various locations in Tucson, Arizona. Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, making sure items are secured for transport. Provide strong customer service by communicating effectively with clients, supervisors, managers regarding any deliveries Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to scheduled routes. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

MUST- Have Requirements:

Valid Class A Driver's License Must be 21 years or older. 2 Years of Tractor Trailer Experience DOT Physical exam and card required No Suspensions within the last 5 years, No more than one violation or accident since obtaining license No criminal history within the last 10 years, NOT on any active parole or probation Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English language Complete & pass a drug test within 24 hours of an offer.

Nice-to-have Requirements:

previous experience as a courier or delivery driver with Fedex, Amazon, etc. (uber eats, door dash, insta cart, lyft will NOT be considered as experience) familiar with route driving Knowledge in completing a pre- and post-trip inspection. Familiar with the FMSCA Regulations, preferred. Knowledge in Hours-of Service Regulations No more than 2 employers in one year.
