The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to navigate routes effectively, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the products being transported. Duties Operate delivery vehicles (step vans) to transport goods to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery times. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Handle heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Deliver and pick up packages assigned to your route. Drivers should efficiently navigate their assigned routes and ensure prompt deliveries of packages. Focus on safety and having a clean driving record. Making deliveries efficiently and promptly. Operating the vehicle responsibly and safely. Following the identification standards of the company. Helping load and unload trucks. Ensure that valid information is recorded. The schedule can be flexible, however, shifts can sometimes extend due to some weather conditions or other factors. In the holiday season, drivers may have more work, so some overtime work can be required during this period. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is required. (Door-Dash, Postmates, Uber is NOT considered as package delivery experience). Starting hourly paid rates are based on your delivery experience. Candidates must have experience and be able to drive box trucks and package delivery trucks(step van experience is prioritized). Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and route planning. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 150 lbs) safely. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Must be 21 years of age or older.
