Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable OTR Commercial Driver to join our team. This role involves ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong focus on customer service and the ability to manage routes efficiently is essential. Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type being operated. Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles. Experience as a delivery driver is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to freight transportation. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to manage route driving effectively. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
