Direct Hire Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader
- Construction Installation to oversee field installation crews and coordinate day-to-day activities on petroleum and fuel station construction projects.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with a growing company specializing in gas station and petroleum facility installation projects nationwide . While this position is based in Jacksonville, FL, qualified candidates should be comfortable supporting projects throughout the United States as business needs require. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, the ability to direct crews effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship, safety standards, and project execution. Responsibilities Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks for construction and installation projects. Lead and direct field crews to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Monitor employee schedules and subcontractor activities. Assign work based on team members' skills and project requirements. Ensure all product installation requirements are followed according to specifications. Enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times. Maintain job site housekeeping standards and oversee daily cleanup activities. Conduct daily crew briefings and communicate project expectations. Track rental equipment, materials, labor usage, and subcontractor costs. Help maintain project budgets through effective resource management. Verify work quality and compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Document daily project activities, inspections, testing results, visitors, and materials used. Maintain product warranty documentation and project records. Build and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure company vehicles remain clean, properly maintained, and used only for authorized business purposes. Qualifications Required Previous experience leading construction or installation crews. Ability to travel for projects as needed. Strong leadership and crew management abilities. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet project deadlines. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 75-100 pounds when necessary. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures. Preferred Experience in the petroleum, fueling systems, or convenience store construction industry. Familiarity with fuel station equipment and petroleum installation projects. OSHA 40-Hour Certification. Industry installer certifications. Equipment operation experience.
