Gas Station Attendant Job Summary:

The weekend Gas Station Attendant ensures smooth operations during the shift by accurately checking in deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, restocking inventory, assisting customers, and preparing food. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash or card payments. Answer customer inquiries and assist with locating products. Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. Truck Delivery and Inventory Management Accurately check in and verify delivery trucks against shipment logs. Report any discrepancies in shipments to management. Stock shelves and coolers with products in a neat and organized manner. Rotate stock to ensure older items are sold first and remove expired products. Store Maintenance and Cleaning Maintain the cleanliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. Empty trash bins and restock restroom supplies. Regularly clean and sanitize high-touch areas to ensure safety and hygiene. Food Preparation Cook and prepare food items according to safety and quality standards. Restock and maintain fresh food items in the warmer or cooler as needed. Monitor food safety protocols, including proper storage and temperature checks. Outdoor Maintenance Ensure the gas pumps and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris. Empty outdoor trash cans and maintain cleanliness of the parking lot. Refill window cleaning supplies and ensure squeegees are in working order.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to work weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail for inventory checks and stocking. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. This role is essential in ensuring the store remains operational and welcoming for customers.
