Gas Station Attendant - Ag-Pro Fuel

The gas station attendant will be responsible for assisting customers with fueling their vehicles, which includes pumping gas, providing basic mechanical services, maintaining cleanliness of the station and processing payments while adhering to safety regulations. Full-time position with benefits.

Job Duties:

Fuel dispensing - Accurately pumping the requested amount of fuel into customers' vehicles, ensuring the correct fuel type is selected. Station upkeep - Maintaining cleanliness of the gas station grounds, including trash removal, sweeping floors, and wiping down pumps.

Safety procedures:

Following safety guidelines regarding fuel handling, spill containment, and proper equipment usage Checking fluid levels (oil, coolant) in vehicles upon request Checking tire pressure, cleaning windshields Checking Tank Readings at the end of the day. Reporting any issues or maintenance needs to management Selling merchandise from the convenience store within the station And additional fuel related duties as may be assigned

Customer service skills: Ability to interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner Basic math skills: Accurate cash handling and change calculation Attention to detail: Ensuring correct fuel type and amount is dispensed Physical ability: Standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items Safety awareness: Understanding and following safety procedures related to fuel handling.
