Job Description
Come join us! We are looking to fill a part-time seasonal Ground Experience Representative position at Nantucket, MA (ACK). The only candidates that will be considered are those that are able to get to the airport (ACK) within one hour. T his position requires U.S. Citizenship, no exceptions.
Position Summary:
The Ground Experience Representative role provides support to our clients at the FBO and our crew members. The Ground Experience Representative arrive at the FBO in advance of a flight, ensure all catering has been delivered per specifications, meet and greet clients at the FBO, coordinate ground transportation arrangements, and assist crew members with restocking of aircraft or service related requests. In the event of irregular operations such as delayed flights, the Ground Experience Representative will assist clients with alternate arrangements. In addition to service related functions, the Ground Experience Representative will screen passengers and accessible property. As a covered employee, this position is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated random drug and alcohol testing. This position includes a 60 hr On-The-Job training at a remote location, employer paid. Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Engaging with the clients, proactively providing refined luxury service and acting as a brand ambassador and informational liaison to the rest of the Company operation Act as an accurate and courteous source of information for passengers, taking immediate steps to initiate service recovery when needed Screening of passengers and accessible property Verify catering has been delivered and is per specifications Assist crew members with service-related requests as needed including restocking of aircraft amenities Greet clients, checking them in for their flight, offering and providing drinks as well as assisting with luggage handling and escorting passengers to the aircraft prior to departure Provide live communication updates with theOperation Control Center:
Designated correspondent in the event of irregular operations, including but not limited to weather activity and mechanical issues Perform aircraft inspections to ensuring vendor accountability and validate aircraft standards Maintain collection and storage of any Company stock, materials and equipment utilized at assigned FBOs or aircraft Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the FBO space before and after client use Assist with luggage shipments as needed Completing and submitting post-flight reports once the flight has successfully departed Ability to enforce policy and procedure in a diplomatic manner Identify opportunities to increase client satisfaction Consistently engages in ongoing training to stay current with compliance, SOPs, enhance skills, and improve job performance. Develop skillsets, including good judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to confidently and knowledgably represent the Company brand Conduct any other daily tasks as required that are assigned by your line managerRequired Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and client services experience.Skills/Competencies:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing workflows and identifying process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Must have the flexibility to cover the needs of the operation and may be assigned to shifts that include days, nights, afternoons, weekends and holidays. Thrives in a teamwork environment by sharing specific tasks but can also work independently when needed. Fast-paced, high-stakes environment requiring quick thinking and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. Comfortable using and troubleshooting the Slate apps. Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Demonstrates Slate's visions of world-class client services. Ability to perform fundamental tasks on a computer and troubleshoot when needed. Ability to synthesize, prioritize and precisely execute multiple tasks under time constraints in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities. Must be able to handle confidential information. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a current, valid driver's license. Must be a U.S citizen.Physical Requirements:
