Gas Station Fire Suppression Technician

Duties Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems at gas station facilities, including dry chemical systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and drawings to ensure proper installation and upgrades Conduct semi-annual inspections to verify compliance with safety codes and local regulations Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades efficiently Perform field service visits to diagnose system failures or malfunctions promptly and accurately Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or modifications of fire suppression systems Requirements 3 year minimum experience with Pyro-Chem & Pem-All systems Strong mechanical knowledge combined with some electrical experience related to low voltage systems and sensors Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings confidently Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes and use of hand tools and power tools Must have clean driver's license Must be able to obtain Suffolk County FELB license, Nassau County Portable fire extinguisher C of F, FDNY S18, and

FDNY W96

Pay:

$21.00 - $40.00 per hour
