Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator at our busy fueling station. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every customer while supporting daily station operations. Whether assisting with fueling, managing retail sales, or merchandising products, you'll play a key role in delivering top-notch service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently and safely Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, or mobile payments Handle cash handling procedures with integrity and ensure proper cash register balancing Provide product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and restrooms Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure inventory levels are adequate for customer needs Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions, managing phone etiquette professionally, and resolving concerns promptly Qualifications Prior retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and cleaning Join us in creating a welcoming environment where safety, service excellence, and teamwork drive success.
