The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with customers, is comfortable working independently, and takes pride in maintaining vehicles and operational excellence. This role combines customer service responsibilities with vehicle preparation, inspections, and lot management. Previous experience working with vehicles, car detailing, outdoor operations, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Vehicle Processing Assist customers throughout the vehicle rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental returns. Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer concerns professionally. Prepare rental vehicles for drivers by: Cleaning and detailing vehicles Fueling vehicles as needed Installing telematics devices and license plates Conducting vehicle inspections Ensure all vehicle compliance documentation is accurate and up to date. Operational Support Organize and maintain the vehicle lot efficiently. Assist with vehicle transportation and movement within designated areas. Perform daily rental operations tasks to ensure smooth business operations. Report vehicle issues, operational challenges, system bugs, and process improvements to the appropriate team. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of vehicles and work areas. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in an in-person customer service role such as retail, hospitality, technical support, or similar environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively. Ability to remain patient, de-escalate difficult situations, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with the local market area is preferred. Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be insurable under company insurance requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in car detailing, vehicle maintenance, automotive services, fleet operations, or related fields. Experience working in outdoor environments. Comfort handling physical tasks and being on your feet for extended periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Pay:
