Everett, WA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Safety equipment provided Tools provided Qualifications Packing Moving Attention to detail Warehouse experience Picking & packing Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Overview Join our well-established marine supply and service business in Everett for a temporary summer position in our Marine Transmission Department. This hands-on role will support our transmission shop during the busy season by helping pull transmissions for orders, prepare shipments, stock inventory, and assist technicians with basic shop tasks. This is a good fit for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working in a shop environment, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Job Responsibilities Pull transmissions, parts, and related components for customer orders and service jobs Prepare and package transmissions, parts, and accessories for shipment Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and shelving transmission parts and inventory Assist technicians with transmission tear downs, cleaning, and testing Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and warehouse area Move, stage, and organize transmissions and related shop materials Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently Follow established shop procedures and safety practices Skills/Qualifications Mechanical aptitude preferred Previous shop, warehouse, automotive, marine, or mechanical experience is helpful but not required Ability to follow directions and work well with a small team Strong attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and willing to stay busy Comfortable working around tools, equipment, parts, oil, solvents, and machinery Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy items Work Environment Primarily shop and warehouse work Must be able to stand for long periods Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Must be comfortable with kneeling, stooping, reaching, lifting, twisting, and turning Exposure to noise, dust, oil, solvents, and shop equipment Tools and safety equipment provided as needed
