Chino, CA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Heavy lifting Customer service BLS Certification CDL Basic life support Full Job Description Job Summary Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation / Inter Facility Transport (IFT) driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring assistance to reach Hospitals / Healthcare facilities, dialysis, and other essential medical appointments. This energetic role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community by ensuring timely and comfortable travel experiences for those in need. As a driver, you will operate various vehicles, including paratransit vans, demonstrating excellent driving skills combined with exceptional customer service. Your dedication will help improve the quality of life for our clients while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely transport patients to Hospitals, Healthcare facilities, and other medical appointments Safely operate paratransit vans, and other commercial vehicles to transport clients to medical facilities and appointments Assist passengers with mobility needs, including heavy lifting and securement of wheelchairs or mobility aids Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation Communicate clearly with clients to provide a welcoming experience and address any special needs or concerns Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance activities Respond promptly to scheduling changes or emergencies, coordinating with dispatch as needed Experience Proven track record in commercial driving, including heavy lifting and safe vehicle operation Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members Experience in paratransit services or school bus driving is advantageous Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and safety procedures is desirable Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL or driver certification) required; clean driving record essential Valid BLS certification Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining a professional demeanor Join us in delivering dependable transportation that makes a difference!
