In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and safety while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through professional driving and attentive care. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle buses, vans, or limousines to transport patients to medical facilities, pharmacies, and other destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed for those with mobility challenges. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and comfort. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and dispatch staff to coordinate schedules and address any concerns. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, and tires. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for wheelchair securement or assisting passengers with mobility devices. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving or bus driving preferred. Prior experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with paratransit services, school bus driving, or limousine operations is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues before they become safety concerns. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a compassionate approach toward passengers requiring special assistance.
