Delivery Crew (Weekends & On Call)

Folklore Event Rentals is a really rad rental company looking for energetic, hardworking and self motivated individuals to join our delivery team (on-call, part-time, and weekends) during our busiest season, beginning May 2026 through October 2026. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy problem-solving and helping put pieces together for special events, then this is for you! At Folklore, we specialize in providing a unique experience to our clients, with distinctive furniture, table wares, props and so much more for event & wedding rentals. Our clients choose us because they are looking for individualized designs - not your standard rentals. We have drivers that are dispatched to the venues or private residences in Palms Springs, Desert Palms, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta and Joshua Tree to deliver orders. As the Delivery crew member you will be responsible for meeting the driver onsite to assist with the setup and pick up of event rental items.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely load and unload medium to heavy rental items off trucks Set-up, assemble and disassemble cabanas, tables, couches, chairs, etc. Follow route instructions to deliver event rentals while adhering to the company meal and rest break policy Adhere to venue rules and regulations. Treat the property with the utmost care. Confidently interact with clients and serve as the main point of contact for delivery, in a professional and friendly manner Conduct a thorough walkthrough of placement of rental items with the client, before and after pick up Conduct an inventory count of rental items prior to leaving the venue to ensure all items have been accounted for and coordinate with the event organizer to locate any missing item(s). Communicate with the delivery manager regarding missing or damaged items or equipment. Complete daily paperwork & daily vehicle reports with high accuracy and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED Must meet the physical demands listed below Prior delivery or event rental experience preferred Flexible schedule with open availability is a MUST Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Dependable Safety Oriented

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exerting 50 to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25 -50 lbs. force frequently and/or 10 to 20 lbs. of force constantly. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and sitting Recurrent climbing, balancing, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and handling The job is performed primarily outdoors
