In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our office operations and our labor crews, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve driving various types of vehicles, managing deliveries, and supporting warehouse activities with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated construction sites. Load and unload items efficiently by hand or by using equipment such as pallet jacks. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Follow planned routes accurately, adhering to schedules while navigating traffic safely and efficiently. Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting loading dock operations as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and safety records throughout each shift. Occasionally assist field crews with labor tasks when projects are behind schedule. Errand runs. Keep the owner in the office to focused on sales instead of field support. Maintain clean driving record. Experience Previous experience backing in trailers is preferred, especially with box trucks or similar large vehicles. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks associated with moving goods securely. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures in commercial driving environments.
