Full Job Description About Us:
Join Florida's top-rated Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider, where we prioritize safety, compassion, and efficiency in transporting individuals to and from their medical appointments in addition to client discharges. As an NEMT Operator, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our members receive reliable and professional transportation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and qualified EMTs to provide exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will operate our state-of-the-art NEMT vehicles and assist passengers who are ambulatory, in wheelchairs, or require stretcher transportation. We provide everything you need to succeed, including: ✔ Company vehicle and mobile device ✔ Brand new equipment and company provided uniforms ✔ Comprehensive paid training and continuous support to help you excel in patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, friendly, and professional transportation to our clients, ensuring a door-through-door service approach.
  • Load, secure, and unload passengers, including those using wheelchairs and stretchers, with care, efficiency, and safety minded approach.
  • Operate hydraulic lifts and other vehicle equipment safely.
  • Follow dispatch and routing instructions through our advanced NEMT software.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles.
  • Restocking the equipment and vehicles. Reports any obvious mechanical malfunctions or deficiencies to the supervisor immediately.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports clearly and accurately.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with safety and operational best practices.
What It Takes To Succeed :
  • Valid Florida license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and assist passengers with mobility challenges.
  • Strong customer service skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions efficiently.
  • Willingness to participate in company-provided training and certification programs.
  • Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Able to represent the company and professionally communicate with facility members.
