Duties Safely operate non-emergency medical transportation vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Assist passengers being loaded onto stretcher and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times efficiently Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems Handle heavy lifting when necessary Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance needs for reporting purposes Qualifications Valid driver's license with no suspension in the last 5 years, Pass a background and drug test. CPR & Frist Aid, driving Defense , Wheelchair & Stretcher securement ( can obtain certifications during training). Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Experience with paratransit services or heavy lifting tasks is advantageous Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach Ability to follow detailed routes and schedules accurately while maintaining safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet compassionate service!
