  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where your role is vital in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring assistance to medical appointments, community activities, or other non-emergency destinations.
You will operate a modern and clean Toyota Sienna Rear-Entry Wheelchair Van, ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. Your dedication to excellent customer service and safety will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with a service-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Safely operate wheelchair van to transport clients to scheduled appointments or destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly. Must be able to push a 250 lb passenger in a wheelchair up a ramp into the vehicle. Must be able to lift 25 lb luggage into the vehicle while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, maintenance reports, and passenger details as required. Experience Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with paratransit or school bus driving is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse passengers. Experience in heavy lifting and maintaining vehicle safety standards is desirable. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and adherence to safety regulations is essential. Valid driver's license; clean driving record required.
