The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and timely transporting patients to and from medical appointments and facilities. Flexible and Part-Time positions are available. Full-time is a possibility, depending on available hours. We are looking for flexible part-time drivers for the day shift during the week; from approximately 8 AM - 5 PM. The ability to drive on the weekends or early mornings is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Transport patients to and from medical appointments and facilities Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, caregivers and medical staff Keep accurate records of mileage, destinations, and patient information Handle patient information with strict confidentiality Respond appropriately to medical emergencies during transport
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Dependability is required At least 3 year of general driving experience is required Minimum 25 years of age Must have a smart phone for GPS Excellent communication skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to work flexible hours is a plus Familiarity with basic medical terminology and equipment is a plus
