Medical Transport Specialist/Driver NEMT Transportation - 3.0 Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time Up to $160 a day 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Route driving Driver's License First Aid Certification Attention to detail Full Job Description Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver We are currently seeking dependable, professional, and compassionate drivers to join our growing transportation team serving Indianapolis and surrounding Indiana counties. As an NEMT Driver, you will safely transport members to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare-related destinations while providing excellent customer service and a safe, comfortable experience for every passenger. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, punctual, patient-focused, and enjoy helping others within their community. Pay Competitive weekly pay Consistent daily trip volume available Opportunities for additional hours and route growth Job Type Full-time Part-time Independent Contractor opportunities may be available depending on qualifications Schedule Monday-Saturday Day shifts Flexible scheduling available Responsibilities Safely transport members to and from scheduled medical appointments Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles when needed Provide professional and courteous customer service Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently Use smartphone/tablet dispatch applications and trip management systems Complete trip documentation and required logs accurately Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards Follow company safety procedures and HIPAA/privacy expectations Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip updates and schedule changes Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Reliable transportation to and from work Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for trip management Prior transportation, rideshare, delivery, shuttle, or NEMT experience preferred Experience assisting elderly or disabled passengers is a plus CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required Preferred Traits Dependable and punctual Professional appearance and attitude Compassionate and patient-focused Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Additional Information Company vehicles are provided during scheduled shifts Vehicles remain at company-designated locations after shifts Drivers must follow all company and healthcare transportation policies and procedures Work Location Indianapolis and surrounding Indiana counties Join a growing company focused on providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services that make a real difference in people's lives every day.
