Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various driving roles. driving. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of individuals locked in wheelchair securements while maintaining a high standard of service and compassion. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and wheelchair securement. Duties Safely operate vehicles for non-emergency medical transport needs. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers secured in wheelchairs with boarding and disembarking. Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Requirements Must be 25 years or older Pass a drug test and criminal background check. Proven experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, or in a similar role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in paratransit services is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to show compassion to our clients and build rapport quickly. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus. A commitment to safety and reliability in all driving activities.
