Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and buses. Duties Safely operate vehicles such as vans, paratransit vehicles, school buses, shuttles, or limousines to transport passengers and goods. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including heavy lifting of luggage or equipment when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in transportation plans. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to management. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or related fields such as van driving, paratransit services, school bus driving, shuttle driving, or limousine services is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members. Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks associated with passenger transport is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for this position.
