Minimum Requirements:

• Eighteen (18) years of age.
• Valid driver's license to transport clients using company vehicle.
• No experience necessary, this employer is willing to train qualified applicant. Preferred (not required):
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in related field.

Job Duties:

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments on schedule.
• Assist stretcher and mobility impaired passengers during pick up and drop off.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to all passengers.
• Use GPS and smartphone navigation to follow assigned routes.
• Drive within the service area, including Salem, Portland, Albany, Corvalis, Lebanon, Oregon Coast and surrounding areas.
• Keep the employer provided vehicle clean and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding scheduling changes or delays.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Complete basic trip logs and required documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Employer Notes:

• Paid training provided at the expense of the employer, including Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity; Defensive Driving; Bloodborne Pathogens; First Aid / CPR; and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse awareness training.
• This employer conducts a twelve (12) panel drug test, a thorough background check, and DMV records check at the state and federal level before first day of employment. Candidates will need to provide a five (5) year driving record, FBI background check / fingerprinting
• cost reimbursed by the employer.
• There will be a check list that needs to be completed before starting work and training.
• This position will get their schedule at 6 PM the day before their next shift.
• Will report to satellite office to begin shift in Salem, OR 97304 within 30 minutes of commute time or scheduled time

Pay:

• $19 per hour to start

Hours:

• Day shift hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm.
• Night shift hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7 pm to 8 am.
• At least four (4) or more hours per week depending on the employer's need and workload
