In this energetic and customer-focused role, you will be responsible for transporting clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations while ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and commercial vans to transport clients to scheduled appointments. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service throughout each trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure all safety protocols are followed before and after trips. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with company policies. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure transportation environment at all times. Experience Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with bus driving or paratransit services is highly advantageous. Proven background in commercial driving, including limousine or school bus driving, demonstrating safe driving practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members. Experience with heavy lifting and assisting passengers with mobility challenges required. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; clean driving record essential. Ability to handle demanding situations calmly while maintaining a positive attitude; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules is a plus.
