Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Driver for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Services! In this vital role, you will provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals requiring assistance to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure passengers feel comfortable and cared for throughout their journey. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who depend on accessible transportation solutions. Responsibilities Safely operate CARE's 2025 Escape to transport clients to scheduled appointments and destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous customer service at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Manage route schedules efficiently, adhering to timeframes while accommodating passenger needs. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, and healthcare providers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and any special requirements. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition reports. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass background check and DOT Medical Exam Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Previous experience in school bus driving or as a delivery driver enhances your suitability for this role. Excellent customer service skills combined with a positive attitude to create a welcoming environment for all passengers.
