In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients and clients to medical appointments, ensuring a comfortable and timely experience. Your professionalism, excellent driving skills, and compassionate customer service will help us deliver exceptional care and support to those in need. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including vans, to transport patients and clients to scheduled appointments. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and respectful customer service at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure cleanliness to maintain safety standards. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports for compliance purposes. Requirements Training provided. Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members. Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed for passenger assistance or cargo handling. Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle readiness. Customer service orientation with a compassionate attitude toward patients requiring non-emergency medical transportation.
