DSP Driver

Equivalent to an uber or lyft position, you will have to utilize your own vehicle. • Position Overview:

• We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professional (DSP) Drivers.

As a DSP Driver with DMW Brothers Dispatch, you will play a crucial role in providing not just transportation but also support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The individuals will be picked up from Edgewater park, Camden, and Marlton to go to their day program in Cherry Hill by 9am. They will be picked up from their day program in Cherry Hill at 2:50pm to be driven to their separate homes in Marlton, Edgewater Park and Camden. You are required to use your own vehicle for this position. The pay for this position is 1200.00 Bi weekly.

• Responsibilities:

• Safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from various destinations.
• Provide compassionate and person-centered care during transit, ensuring the well-being and comfort of passengers.
• Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to any unexpected changes or delays.
• Collaborate with caregivers to address specific needs and preferences of passengers.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for individuals during the journey.

• Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
• Flexibility in working hours.
