Job Description

Job Details Salary $18.00 - $22.00 an hour Job Type Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) Full Job Description Job Skills/Requirements Legacy Sheet Metal & Roofing L.L.C. specializes in providing both home and business owners with everything from new roof installations to commercial roof repairs. We strive to offer the perfect blend of traditional workmanship and advanced roofing technology while installing or repairing a variety of roofing styles. Legacy has a reputation for top-quality work. Legacy specializes and prides itself on expertise in traditional roofing applications, including slate, tile, and wood shake roofing, as well as architectural sheet metal fabrication and installation. We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to help with material movement and job support by supplying the crew with materials and tending to shop duties. Your pay rate will be determined by your background and experience level.
Material Handling Job Duties:
Job duties can vary, as we may be working on a variety of projects during any given week, so flexibility is crucial. Some general duties include, but are not limited to: Loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed Safely operating company trucks Pulling a trailer when required Transporting materials between job sites or storage locations Keeping materials and equipment organized
Requirements:
Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred) Must have dependable transportation Comfortable operating trucks and pulling a trailer Ability to work alone without constant supervision Must be physically able to do heavy lifting when needed Must be able to lift 60 pounds consecutively Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
What We Are Looking For:
Someone who shows up on time, works hard, and treats equipment with care. Experience in roofing, construction, or material handling is a plus, but not required for the right person.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
