Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Drivers can expect for transports to go anywhere in Ohio, and to some areas of neighboring states

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including Cars, Wheelchair vans, etc.
• Transport passengers designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, securing belongings, and answering any questions
• Communicate effectively with transport scheduler, passengers, and other team members
• Follow established routes and schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Ensure the safety of passengers during transportation

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with no more then 3 strikes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Will need CPR and First Aide Certification.
