Package delivery job for fedex

We are contractor with fedex .We are seeking a reliable and motivated Package Delivery Driver to join our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery (and pick-up) of packages to residential and commercial customers. This job requires weekend work and is physically demanding. Do not apply if you cannot work weekend days or cannot handle a physical job.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

 Clean Background (verified via background check)  Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (no DUI or license suspensions)  Speak English (enough to communicate with customers)  Ability to lift up to 150 pounds.  Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends (up to 12 hours per shift).  Have reliable transportation to and from work and a working mobile device.  Working mobile phone for communication and safety training.

Responsibilities:

 Safely deliver packages along designated routes, meeting strict time schedules.  Be able to drive 8-10 hours within a day.  Load, unload, and organize packages in your assigned vehicle, adhering to weight restrictions (up to 150 lbs).  Provide excellent customer service by following all delivery instructions and obtaining signatures when required.  Maintain a professional appearance (provided uniform and badge) and positive attitude while interacting with customers.  Effectively navigate using GPS and delivery manifests.  Report any damaged packages or delivery issues.  Perform basic vehicle checks to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance concerns.  Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Pay:

$140.00 - $220.00 per day
