Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver and Helper to join our dynamic team! This energetic role combines the responsibilities of safe, efficient route driving with hands-on assistance in loading, unloading, and moving goods. As a key player in our delivery operations, you will ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures. Assist with moving items within warehouses, customer locations, or job sites, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Support the driver by helping to load, secure, and unload packages or equipment as needed. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus. Hands-on warehouse experience involving loading, unloading, and moving heavy items. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is ideal. Knowledge of forklift operation and pallet jack usage is advantageous. Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities.
