JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Greet and assist customers by loading and unloading merchandise. Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse. Assemble products and displays. Regularly operate a vehicle to make deliveries, visit various worksites, other businesses or customer locations. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities. Dispense propane and kerosene. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and high standards especially in terms of providing outstanding customer service. Practice safe operations and provide a clean work environment. Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships. Practice punctual and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license to operate a commercial motor vehicle (10,001 lbs. GVWR). Maintain a safe and insurable driving record. Be able to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for the operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop and kneel frequently; lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 pounds. Professional appearance and demeanor. Proven track record of being dependable and reliable. Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating websites and receiving/sending emails. Professional appearance and demeanor. Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, lawn & garden or wild bird supplies. Experience safely operating pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, 16

• 32 hours per week, in person position.

Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
