Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals requiring medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency travel needs. In this vital role, you will operate specialized vehicles designed for passenger comfort and safety, ensuring timely arrivals while delivering excellent customer service. Your positive attitude and professional demeanor will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, supporting their health and independence every day. Duties Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to medical facilities, appointments, and community events. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort throughout the journey. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to maintain punctuality. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments and provide updates or assistance as needed. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition for reporting purposes. Uphold all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff alike. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with shuttle driving, bus driving, or limousine service is highly preferred. Proven delivery driver experience or commercial driving background demonstrating reliability and responsibility. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and dispatch personnel. Knowledge of paratransit operations and familiarity with transportation regulations is a plus. Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are maintained. Prior experience in school bus driving or driver roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
