Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate techniques and tools such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit, including wrapping fragile items and securing loads Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of furniture or equipment as needed Ensure all items are properly secured in trucks using straps or tie-downs to prevent shifting during transport Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times during packing and loading processes Support delivery drivers with route driving duties when required, including operating box trucks with manual transmissions or driver licenses Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate schedules and address any special handling requests Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or moving industry background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Experience with commercial driving or delivery driver roles is a plus; valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients during moves Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work in physically demanding environments Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in fast-paced situations Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
