Donations Team Associate - Temporary 3-6 month position

Sammie's Friends Nifty Thrift - Donations Team Associate (Up to 6 Month Position) Sammie's Nifty Thrift is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and community-minded team member to join our Donations Department for a temporary 3-6 month position with the potential for growth. This is a fast-paced, physically active role that directly supports local animal welfare efforts. We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, friendly, professional in appearance, and ready to jump in where needed. Schedule & Pay Wednesday-Saturday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - $18/hr Responsibilities Receive, sort, organize, and process donations Assist donors and customers in a warm and professional manner Load, unload, and move furniture and donated items safely Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming donation area Assist with donation pickups and transportation as needed Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers Represent Nifty Thrift and Sammie's Friends positively in the community Qualifications & Requirements Ability to safely lift and move 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day Valid driver's license required Current auto insurance required Clean DMV driving record required Dependable transportation Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Punctual, responsible, and reliable Friendly, team-oriented, and comfortable interacting with the public Professional and presentable appearance Must be able to start immediately Physical Requirements This position is physically active and requires the ability to: Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull donated items weighing up to 100 lbs (with assistance when appropriate) Stand and walk for extended periods of time Bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and climb stairs throughout the workday Load and unload furniture, boxes, and household items Work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Safely operate within a busy donation and warehouse environment Interview Information Qualified candidates must be available to interview on Wednesday, May 20 and be prepared for an immediate start date.
