Full Job Description About Us:

Slate Staging & Design is a Bay Area-based home staging company providing staging and design services for real estate agents and homeowners. We're a hands-on, fast-paced team that takes pride in our work, our spaces, and how we show up for our clients.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking team member to join us as a Mover / Driver / Warehouse Associate . This role is essential to keeping our warehouse running smoothly and supporting staging installations and removals. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats throughout the day. A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and transport furniture and décor between warehouse and staging sites Drive a 20-ft box truck (clean driving record required) Assist with staging installations (setting up furniture, beds, hanging artwork, etc.) Support staging removals, including careful packing, wrapping, and transporting items back to the warehouse Clean, organize, and maintain warehouse spaces (including common areas) Clean and maintain furniture, rugs, linens, and accessories after de-stages Assist with furniture assembly, minor repairs, and basic handyman tasks (shelving, lighting, small fixes) Help organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse Perform dump runs and break down cardboard/materials Support moving crews on-site and ensure proper handling of all staging items Assist with inventory tracking and preparation of items for upcoming projects Collaborate with the team to fulfill staging needs and improve warehouse efficiency

Qualifications:

Previous experience in warehouse, moving, or a similar role preferred Experience driving a box truck (20 ft or similar) Ability to lift and move heavy items (80+ lbs) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive attitude Must be able to communicate in

English Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Personal cell phone Willingness to travel locally throughout the

Bay Area Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture (80+ lbs) Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

Schedule:

Monday through Friday Weekends as needed
