Duties Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, boxes, and other household or office items using appropriate moving equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary. Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing belongings to prevent damage during transit. Operate commercial vehicles including box trucks with manual transmissions for route driving and delivery purposes. Load and unload items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and proper handling techniques. Follow designated routes accurately as a courier or delivery driver to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving trucks and equipment after each job. Communicate professionally with clients to address questions or concerns during the moving process. Experience Prior experience in moving services or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in heavy lifting, manual labor, or physically demanding roles. Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients throughout the move. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring route driving and load & unload tasks.
