Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer and become a vital part of delivering seamless moving and packing services. As a Mover/Packer, you'll be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, unloading, and transporting items with care and precision. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will help ensure customer satisfaction and safe handling of all belongings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in moving, logistics, and customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely using boxes, wrapping materials, and protective padding to prevent damage during transit Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or drivers for route driving and delivery tasks Assist customers with loading and unloading their belongings, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Maintain organization of packing supplies and ensure all items are properly labeled for easy identification during delivery or unpacking Follow safety protocols including heavy lifting procedures, forklift operation, manual transmission driving, and route driving best practices Collaborate with team members to load, transport, and unload items efficiently while adhering to schedules Requirements Prior experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively for extended periods Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles; commercial driving certification is a plus Experience with driving manual transmission vehicles and route driving logistics Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other loading tools is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Physical stamina to stand, lift, carry, and move items throughout the workday Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse environments Embark on a rewarding career where your physical skills meet exceptional service!
