This energetic role involves physically assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of furniture, appliances, and other large items. As a key player in our moving operations, you will ensure safe handling and efficient delivery, providing excellent customer service throughout every move. Duties Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or lift gate and ramps when necessary Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing belongings to prevent damage during transit Operate commercial vehicles including 26' box trucks to transport items between locations Load items onto trucks according to route plans, ensuring balanced weight distribution for safety during transit Drive route trucks confidently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Unload and organize items at the destination, ensuring proper placement and client satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of moving equipment and vehicles to ensure safety standards are met Qualifications Prior experience in moving is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Experience operating pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience, no CDL required Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting and moving operations Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods during shifts Join us in delivering exceptional service while staying active!
