The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of items during residential and commercial moves. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' belongings are handled with care and transported safely to their new locations. Duties Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off of trucks or vans. Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and vans during moves. Drive routes as assigned, ensuring timely delivery of items to designated locations. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient handling of heavy or bulky items. Follow all safety protocols while lifting, carrying, and transporting items to prevent injuries. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations throughout the moving process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving vehicles and equipment. Assist in packing items securely for transport to minimize damage during transit. Qualifications Previous experience in moving or logistics is preferred but not required. Ability to load and unload heavy items safely; physical stamina is essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is an advantage. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Must be able to follow directions accurately and adhere to safety guidelines.
