Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Movers Specialty Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service in making military members and civilians' moves go smoothly. In this role, you will disconnect/reconnect appliances, disassemble/reassemble furniture and exercise equipment, and build structured crates to protect their most fragile belongings. Your positive attitude, technical skills, and proactive approach will drive success in supporting our customers' needs with precision and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Build precise crates for customers fragile belongings. Properly disassemble and reassemble furniture, and exercise equipment, including commercial grade equipment. Disconnect and reconnect washers, dryers, icemakers, etc. Drive/ride for long distances, such as Columbia, SC, Myrtle Beach, SC, Greenville, SC Macon, GA, Athens, GA, Greensboro, GA, etc. Use hand tools. Assist with the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup according to specifications. Maintain detailed service reports, update logs, and communicate findings clearly to team members and clients. Maintain a clean work vehicle. Skills Proficiency with hand tools. Must know how to read, write, and know how to read a tape measure. Familiarity with exercise equipment and appliances. Ability to drive a vehicle with a clean driving record, as well as a clear background. (This job consists of getting on military bases often.) Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain details clearly to office personnel.
