Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Furniture Delivery Helper and play an important role in delivering furniture and large household items safely and efficiently. In this position, you will support the delivery team with loading, unloading, setup support, and customer interactions while helping create a smooth delivery experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, works well with others, and takes pride in providing dependable, professional service. Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery team with loading, unloading, and securing furniture in delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as hand dollies
- Safely handle furniture and household items to prevent damage during transit and delivery
- Support the driver with navigation and route assistance to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
- Provide professional, courteous customer service during deliveries by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
- Assist with maintaining an organized truck and keeping warehouse and work areas clean, safe, and organized throughout the day
- Follow all safety procedures and delivery standards at all times Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse work, moving services, or furniture delivery is preferred but not required
- Experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, or hand trucks is beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills preferred
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
- Reliable transportation is required
- Dependability and punctuality are essential for success in this role
