Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport items between locations efficiently and responsibly Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing belongings to prevent damage during transit Load items onto trucks according to route plans, ensuring weight distribution and safety compliance Drive route vehicles confidently, adhering to traffic laws and company safety standards while maintaining punctuality Use manual tools like pallet jacks or forklifts to move heavy or bulky items within warehouses or loading zones Communicate professionally with clients to confirm details of each move, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Experience Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Experience with heavy lifting, moving furniture or equipment, and handling large loads safely Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred Knowledge of route driving practices and the ability to navigate efficiently in various locations Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently while maintaining attention to safety standards Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during relocations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their driving expertise and physical strength in a lively team environment.
