Job Description:

As a Dorm Move Helper, you will be responsible for assisting college students in moving out of their dormitories at the end of the academic year. This role requires physical strength, excellent teamwork, and reliability.

Your primary duties will include:

Assisting with loading and unloading students' belongings onto the moving truck. (No heavy furniture) Safely transporting items to the designated destination. Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of each move. Keeping a proffesional appearance to up hold company standards

Roles and Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth operation. Provide friendly and helpful customer service to students and their families, addressing any concerns or questions. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the efficient flow of work. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including punctuality and professionalism.

Schedule and Operating Hours:

Project Starts as soon as May 20th Day 1: Saturday, May 30th 2026 (Sunday Off) Week 1: Monday, June 1st- Friday June 5th, 2026 (Weekend Off) Week 2: Monday, June 8th-June 12th, 2026 Week 3: Overtime if desired (1-3 Days)

Operating Hours:

The operating hours for each day will be communicated closer to the start date. We offer flexibility to work on weekends and evenings is required.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria: Ability to lift objects and perform physical labor for extended periods. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Availability to work on weekdays and evenings, as required. We are operating on a college campus so you must pass a background check, including a criminal record check.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience in moving or similar physical labor roles. Familiarity with packing and handling delicate items.
