Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering items while providing a positive experience for our customers. Duties Safely load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Drive delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission, to transport goods to designated locations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and loading areas. Assist in inventory management by tracking items during loading and unloading processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, 4 wheels dollies, 2 wheel dollies, caster dollies, piano dollies, and any other warehouse equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed. A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
