JUNK REMOVAL TECH 606 JUNK REMOVAL
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Junk Removal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with the removal of unwanted items, ensuring a clean and efficient process. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in driving and operating various vehicles, including box trucks. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns during the junk removal process. Operate box trucks and other vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Perform heavy lifting and moving of various types of junk, including furniture, appliances, and construction debris. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize delays. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary to assist in the removal process. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to complete jobs effectively and efficiently. Experience Previous experience in customer service is essential for interacting positively with clients. Warehouse experience is preferred to understand logistics and inventory management. Commercial driving experience is a plus, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles. Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities, including route planning and time management. Experience in heavy lifting, moving, or related physical labor roles is required. Knowledge of operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred for flexibility in vehicle operation.
