Mover/Packer

Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring careful handling of fragile or valuable belongings Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks or courier vans with manual transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist with route driving to deliver items promptly and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Use manual tools and equipment to organize and load cargo efficiently, optimizing space and safety Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide updates on arrival times Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools, packing materials, and equipment after each job Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse work, moving, or delivery driving is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not required—training can be provided Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional communication style Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and courier services is beneficial Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Join us in delivering exceptional service while staying active in a fast-paced environment!
