This is not a basic labor job. We handle high-end furniture, designer receiving, local deliveries, warehouse work, and residential moves. We need someone who can show up on time, work hard, communicate professionally, and handle expensive furniture without damaging it. What This Job Includes You will help with: Loading and unloading furniture safely White-glove delivery into homes, showrooms, warehouses, and businesses Local residential moves when scheduled Padding, wrapping, carrying, placing, and assembling furniture when needed Protecting floors, walls, doors, railings, and customer property Taking required photos and completing delivery documentation Communicating professionally with customers, designers, showrooms, and team members Warehouse receiving, storage, organizing, and order handling Keeping trucks, trailers, pads, straps, dollies, and tools organized and ready Required Qualifications You must meet all of the following: Reliable transportation to and from work every scheduled day Able to show up on time consistently Able to pass a background check Able to work locally in the Kansas City area Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver heavy furniture with a team Able to work on stairs, in tight spaces, and in customer homes Able to follow written procedures and crew-lead instructions Able to use a smartphone for photos, job notes, communication, and documentation Professional attitude with customers and coworkers Drug-free and fit for duty while working Able to follow the company phone policy during work hours Willing to work physical days without complaining, disappearing, or slowing the crew down Attendance Standard Reliability is mandatory. If you are frequently late, miss work, have transportation issues, or cannot be depended on to show up when scheduled, this job will not work. Our customers schedule around delivery windows, moving crews, buildings, designers, and warehouses. One person being late can throw off the entire day. Transportation Standard You must have dependable transportation to get to work on time every scheduled day. Rides that regularly fall through, last-minute transportation problems, or repeated lateness will disqualify you from this position. We need people who can get themselves to work reliably. Cell Phone Standard Personal phone use is not allowed while actively working. Phones may only be used for work-related communication, job photos, job notes, navigation, or other assigned work tasks. Personal phone use is only allowed during approved breaks or while riding as a passenger in a vehicle. If you cannot stay off your phone while working, this job will not work. Physical Requirements This is a physical job.

You must be able to:

Lift and carry furniture with another person Work on your feet most of the day Go up and down stairs repeatedly Carry items through homes without damaging walls, floors, doors, or furniture Work in warehouses, trucks, trailers, customer homes, and job sites Handle long or heavy days when the schedule requires it Follow safe lifting, carrying, padding, wrapping, and loading procedures What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: On time Reliable Careful Coachable Physically capable Calm under pressure Professional around high-end customers Able to follow procedures exactly Honest about problems, damage, delays, or mistakes Interested in steady work, not just a quick paycheck What We Are Not Looking For Do not apply if: You do not have reliable transportation You are not consistently on time You cannot pass a background check You cannot handle physical furniture work You do not want to follow company procedures You cannot stay off your phone while working You are careless with customer property You frequently miss interviews, ignore messages, or fail to respond You only want easy work You cannot work as part of a two-person or multi-person crew Schedule Primarily weekday work. Some Saturdays may be available or required based on workload. Hours can vary depending on delivery and moving schedules. Compensation Pay is based on experience, reliability, work ethic, physical ability, and performance.

Have you worked in furniture delivery, moving, warehouse receiving, or white-glove delivery before? Are you available for occasional Saturdays when scheduled in advance? Have you used moving equipment such as dollies, shoulder straps, moving pads, stretch wrap, or ratchet straps before?
